Tiro Medical is a small New Zealand start-up specialising in equitable healthcare for improved medical outcomes.

 

It works closely in collaboration with the UC bioengineering department in areas such as designing digital twins for more personalized hospital care and developing non-invasive breast screening technology.

Tiro Medical is divided into two different company segments working to optimise health care technology in two different fields:

 

Focused on the development of a non-invasive breast cancer screening device.

 

Focused on the development of digital twins to personalise and optimise care in the intensive care unit (ICU).
